In a successful week for the medical technology companies in the LSI Alumni community, we saw LSI Alumni raise a $40M Series B, announce CE approval, appoint new executives, and much more on the road to LSI USA ‘25 in Dana Point, CA (March 17-21).

AliveCor

Activated its solutions and services on the VA Federal Supply Schedule and Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) ECAT Contract System. Veterans can get prescriptions for AliveCor’s FDA-cleared personal ECG devices, including KardiaMobileⓇ 6L and KardiaMobile Card.

Clairity 

Appointed LSI Alumni Jeffrey R. Luber, JD, MBA, President, Chief Executive Officer, and Director. Luber will guide the company through the market launch and global expansion of its AI- and image-based breast cancer risk prediction platform.

FluidAI Medical

Announced a collaboration to access de-identified clinical data via the Mayo Clinic Platform_Discover. This collaboration will allow FluidAI to accelerate its development of predictive models intended to improve clinical decision-making and patient outcomes in postoperative care.

GLX Analytix

Announced a strategic investment with Labcorp Venture Fund and the Alzheimer’s Drug Discovery Foundation’s Diagnostics Accelerator. These partnerships will enable the company to accelerate the development of its technology for early detection and monitoring of neurodegenerative, neuropsychiatric, and autoimmune conditions.

Hyperfine

Announced CE approval for the latest generation of its AI-powered SwoopⓇ system software. The Swoop system is a portable, ultra-low-field, magnetic resonance brain imaging system designed to support effective clinical decision-making in various healthcare settings.

Inquis Medical

Successfully closed a $40M Series B funding round led by Marshall Wace. The company will use the funds to complete its pivotal IDE trial and prepare for the upcoming commercial launch of its AVENTUS Precision Thrombectomy System™.

Sense Neuro Diagnostics

Was awarded a $2M contract by the DoD Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP) through the Traumatic Brain Injury and Psychological Health Research Program (TBI PHRP). The funds will support clinical trials for the company’s NeuroHawk device.
