Hey, everyone. My name is Alexis and co founder of Cleio, a medtech, product design and engineering firm based in Quebec, Canada. I'm very pleased to be here with you today at LSI. I'll be session leader for the next hour or so. And I was planning on making a joke of leaving the snow behind in Canada to enjoy the nice weather in California. But I guess that will be for next year. When I co founded the company in 2005, with my good friend, Chris, our dream was to develop high tech products. As young engineers, it got us exciting to work on new technologies. But to us, it was kind of kind of natural to, to try and discover what the end users wanted to get out of these High Tech products that we were to develop. However, let me tell you that coming from two electrical engineers at that time, that kind of came after left of the left the left field, it was not natural. Doing business with engineering firms, at that time meant writing a brick of technical specifications. And while we strive to change that, and our clients at the time took a liking to it. Then a couple of years later, we were thinking about, well, what industry we wanted to focus our energy on. And well out of total serendipity. We just won a bid for a medical product development at this time. And while this is well, this is when we fell deeply in love with the sector. Joining user centric design with high technologies. Well, it's really it's really a blast, to be honest. And it was in 2007. And we've we've been working on developing medtech innovation since then. Other experts have gradually joined the team. And now 18 years later, we have more than eight the experts passionate innovators on staff. And we are a full design and engineering firm with expertise with expertise in innovation strategy, human factors, UX design, mechanical and electrical engineering, quality insurance. So our mission is to be able to take on the complexity of developing well medtech products. We have strong experience in designing cardiovascular oncology, respiratory patient monitoring systems, surgical devices, connected medical devices and digital health systems among other applications that we've worked on over the years. And today, I am very proud to present you with our our new company name Cleio. We used to go by the name of Novo for the last 18 years. And we felt that the time has came for us to have a new name that reflects where the company is today. And this is clear, it is also the acronym of, of five values that are deeply rooted in our culture, collaboration, leadership, empathy, innovation, and openness. And now, I won't tell you that we actually just like the sound of it and discovered the acronym later on. Five facts about our company. First Quality is in our DNA. We we've been certified ISO 1345 for a while now. All of our experts are in house on staff and they are trained on our processes and you they are used and efficient that working together on complex projects. We are very flexible and we are well we are open to adapt to wherever you are and your development journey and we meet and we know that it means a lot because there are different maturity levels and we can help at well different stage in the process. We do not only understand how to develop a product, but we also strive to develop a commercially successful product. And this is where our innovation strategist can help find the best path toward commercial success. And finally, we do not just take orders. We are also your trusted advisors, and then we'll discuss openly and transparently what we think is best for you to get to the end of the journey with a product that is certified and marketable. In conclusion, what we love is pushing the innovation boundaries with with startups that want to turn a real revolutionary idea in a successful product. And if you want to discuss more with us, we have a table just outside of these as the of these doors, and we'll be pleased to meet meet with you and discuss your project. That being said, it is now my pleasure to invite Brian Murray, the CEO of modality on stage to present his company who develops a proprietary device intended to reverse type two diabetes and associated obesity.
