Many of these customers are using ServiceNow beyond it or digital technology into global business services such as HR, finance, legal and procurement and across functions in the value chain to improve operations and compliance in r&d, manufacturing and the supply chain. So what is the common theme that ties the interests of all these inspiring businesses together? And what is ServiceNow is role.
So ServiceNow partners with leaders and medical technology and in healthcare life sciences generally to support digital transformation initiatives that unlock productivity, improve patient and provider experience while controlling costs and managing risk. However, often when our clients embark in digital transformation journeys, they encounter a dilemma should they focus on reducing costs, or bringing more innovative life changing therapies to market faster, but what if we could do both?
So solving this dilemma is what has guided our investments at ServiceNow in workflow automation, service orchestration, artificial intelligence, machine machine learning, and in generative AI to create one intelligent platform for end to end digital transformation. The ServiceNow platform provides an integrated set of cutting edge technologies which can be combined to drive digital workflows across the business. The now platform is a system of action. With one data model one architecture that complements and unlocks value from existing investments in systems of record, be that epic, Viva SAP, track wise and so on. So if we look across the value chain, from planning innovate source, making, distribute, fulfill support, secure and comply. There are many examples of how clients have innovated on the now platform to build workflow applications that drive benefits across these value streams. Whether you are AstraZeneca, freeing up scientists time for more research by automating the process for laboratory supplies ordering or Siemens Healthineers. Optimizing scheduling and planning to increase the utilization of its vast installed base of medical and diagnostic equipment to use and use around the world to get more care to more patients. We're marking managing orders from clinical sites for fulfilment of investigational product for remote trials, or Lastly, Novartis a proactively managing supplier risk to stabilize their supply chain. These examples all illustrate parts of a whole whole approach to digital technology for the enterprise that is seamless, zero touch and innovative to unite inventory order management, and customer service on one platform. With automated workflows that streamline business functions and bring new products to market faster.
