Good afternoon. It's a pleasure to serve as a host for this next session of presentations. I'm Kwame Ulmer from MedTech Color, we can go to the next slide, please. We have a very simple mission in MedTech Color, which is to advance the representation of overlooked people of color in the medical device industry. We focus on gaps gaps that were informed by the Bureau of Labor statistics that show that 3.4% of the med tech industry's leadership is African American as an example. We started this journey six years ago in building community of people of color and allies to close this gap. And we followed the model of med tech women where we focus on thought leadership to serve as a magnet for more people to enter and stay in the industry. We have three main programs we focus on diversity in clinical trials. We invest in early stage companies that are managed by people of color. And finally, we have the world's largest network of people of color in the industry every year in conjunction with the med tech conference sponsored by Abiomed. Our networking Breakfast has grown from a dinner of 15 leaders in the industry, to any event that boasts between 400 to 500 people now. Our top 10 finalists are working on problems as diverse is mental health, respiratory and oncology. And they are representative of the spectrum of technologies that we see in 2023. From digital health solutions to traditional medical devices to diagnostics. Our collaborative community does amazing things like partner with nonprofits to understand the barriers that black women face to enroll in cardiovascular trials. And we're proud of the members of the ecosystem in conjunction with the FDA that have come together to tackle this problem. These are the ways you can join as an individual member if you're a young professional, or as a grown up and the benefits listed are what you see here. These are other ways to get involved with med tech color. We invite you to learn more by visiting med tech color.org Or please feel free to chat with me. I'll be here all day today and tomorrow. Thank you so much for your time. We're going to catch up in our schedule and I'm going to immediately invite Daniel Adler, CEO of BioT medical
