Hello everyone, my name is Nima Ziraknejad. I am the founder and CEO at Nz Technologies. And the topic of my talk today is touchless interfaces for smart surgery. So, there was an unmet need in the current practice of surgery due to the lack of proper surgeon insertion interfaces during surgical operations. Today in nearly all surgical operations, modern surgical operations are heavily dependent on medical imaging, like radiology images, such as X ray and MRI. But the real problem is that due to the lack of proper interfaces, surgeons, they have to either delegate the task to an untrained staff or scrubbed out, go to the control room. Like it's shown in the pictures here, use the mouse and keyboard and rescrub back to the operating room which is a, you know, timely and contamination risky process. So let's consider this question together. What if we could bring the benefits of touchless interfaces to the operating room? So the thing is, for for vendors who make this medical imaging platforms, it's it's difficult for them to do this change overnight. So, our solutions which we have commercialized today, it brings this opportunity to all these equipment in the operating room to become touchless. So Airpad and Hover Tap or two solutions that we have introduced to the market commercialize deepsec Aeroparque by itself is a remote control for distant interfaces is an FDA approved product, it is used for interfaces is which are not within the reach of the surgeon's hand. On the other side, Hover Tap is a technology that basically it's it's an overlay on top of existing touchscreens, converting them into a touchless touchless experience. So this is a picture that shows a real world scenario for use of these two products within the surgical space. As you can see, the surgeon is using the air pad at the bedside while remaining steroid looking at the pictures in front of him. And if he wants to have controls over other equipment in the room, he can use Harvard tap images in his hand rich. This is a quick video that shows the operation. Tips or airpad uses a novel technology based on electric field sensing, which allows this device to be placed inside the sterile sterile bags during surgical operations as you can see in the video here. So we hold the strong IP portfolio for this technology and product over international jurisdictions. As you can see, in this video, for example, the surgeon is scrolling over layers of CT scan by simply turning you know his finger over the path. Or this is another example of like how the device is being used at the bedside during an interventional radiology case. So it's intuitive, easy to use. This is an example of our Hover Tap device, which you can see how the surgeon or clinicians can can use this device without touching the screen. By just simply hovering or using hand gestures. We have validated the tipster technology in 24, major North American clinical institutions and we have published peer reviewed journal publications. In a variety of cases it has been used in ng suite and operating room. Let's go quickly over our value proposition there is hospital outcomes which involves shorter procedures. So our data shows that using tips, so during surgical operations by eliminating scrubbing IN and OUT 10 to 15% of the surgery time is saved. There is a streamlined workflows improvement and improving the continuous quality improvement or the so called CHC Qi metrics. There is There was also there's also physician and patient outcomes, which refers to focus treatments, surgeons remain remain focused on the on the on the on the patient, no distraction, reduced risk of adverse events and of course, physician satisfaction. So at the bottom you can see a case study that we have conducted for the for a typical A hospital with five operating rooms and average you know three cases per day using tips. So can bring cost saving of $4.3 million per year for five operating rooms, of course, and additional 585 cases per year. Thanks competition in this space, use off the shelf and repurpose products that are really made for living room experience. They are cumbersome, difficult to use, and they are not really built for the strict requirements in the sterile environment of the operating room. Basically, what's happening is that this is the journey that we have had in the past 10 years, or technologies or products have been designed by surgeons for surgeons. And in this table, we have listed some of our competitions, in terms of ease of use fluid and precise image control, simple instructions, and convenience in terms of manipulating the images as an example, AR VR are really popular these days. They are great for providing immersive experience for you know, really high quality 3d images, but they suffer from the lack of proper interfaces with these immersive images. Our business model obviously involves selling direct to the hospitals and hiring distributors. The ASP for for the tip. So airpad device is $10,000, which is, you know, low capital budget. Usually our managers can place the order doesn't need to go to the procurement process. And there is a $2,500 licensing fee per year as the recurring fee. As for harbor tab is cheaper. It's $800 and a licensing fee of $100 per year. So in total and considering the number of operating rooms worldwide. And in North America, we are looking at a time of $10.3 billion Assam of nearly eight $800 million. And our beachhead market over the next five years have $360 million. And this is the final financial projections over the next five years. That shows where where we are going each column represents the the one time fee for the for the hardware and the recurring revenue for both SIP so and Hover Tap. Our market entry is based on a dual dual channel strategy. Of course, first one is licensing the rip to major medical device manufacturers. We have already in agreement and the partnership with Shimadzu, Steris and Barco. And we are in discussions with the companies listed here. In terms of the direct sales, we have had some really good success in the past five years through direct sales and our network of distributors globally. Some example of our direct sales to the hospitals our city of hope here in Orange County and Baker in Florida. Over the past six years, we've achieved the number of milestones, including clinical validation, IP protection, and FDA approval for tips or airpad. And of course, safety certification, as you can see listed in the middle of the screen here for different, you know, the markets like Europe CE FDA here in Japan. So we are in really good shape in terms of that we have had a total of $3 million of seed rounds, and government support funding of 4.2 billion to $4.2 million. And, of course, we are running a series a financing for $5 million. And we are aiming to achieve our revenue to $8.6 million by 2024. I need to mention here that our hubitat technology has a broad range of application in other market verticals such as aviation elevators, self service, industrial and entertainment. These are all high touch surfaces that could be converted into touch lists. And I must say that our touch this Hover Tap system has already been commercialized in elevator industries. And there are a number of installations already. Management team I name as Arachnida I have a PhD in electrical engineering. With more than 22 years of experience in oil and gas, mining, automotive and healthcare industries. I used to be one of the founding members of motion matrix, which was recently sold to various school for $200 million. Another example is Bruce Klasky. He's our VP of Sales and Marketing with more than 30 years of experience BMC medical devices and formerly involved with with a service, our CTO Penn Law Center, who is here also we have a booth upstairs very experienced, engineering physicist, capable person in terms of bringing all these technologies into commercialization. Our board of directors are strange, very experienced individuals, as an example, Michael Fish listed here. He is the president at Pacific surgical, which is the largest surgical equipment supplier in Canada. And we are here we are honored to work with our clinical advisory firm advisory group here, which with Dr. Jason sauce, an MD he's City of Hope he has been instrumental in the past several years in bringing a lot of technologies of tips into reality. We are here for $5 million raised Of course, this this funding is matched by by the Business Bank of Canada 400%. And this is the list of use of proceeds that we have. And I would like to mention that NC technologies is dedicated to revolutionize the way surgeons interact with imaging and equipment in the in the operating room. We have a dedicated team and we are set our goals to achieve this. And I would like to thank you very much for attending this session. Thank you
