Prior to Augmedics, he worked in Medtronic at the spine surgery unit, and in Neopharm at the general surgery unit. In addition, he co-founded and was the inventor of another medical device start-up, Medizn, which developed a smart surgical hernia mesh. Nissan is the inventor of a dozen patents, he is a Bio-Medical engineer by training and an MBA graduate.
