Hello, I'm Roger Brooks, the founder of RBrooks Group, retain executive suite search firm, we're based out of Boulder, Colorado. And we work with medical device companies based both in the United States and Europe. In fact, probably about 30% of our revenue gets tied back to Europe and in some sort of fashion. I focus on doing CEO and board level searches. And I've got a team of people that helped me out with other C suite functions like Chief Commercial, clinical, regulatory, engineering, CTO types of searches. One of the things that I get to see a lot of out there is CEOs that oftentimes are first time CEOs, and they're in a spot where they're going down the road, they they see the dead ends, they see curves in the road, they see forks in the road, everything ahead looks a little bit fuzzy. And they're not always sure which direction to go, because they know one decision builds on the next issue decision that builds on the next decision. And they can go to their investor board member, I will tell them to go to one direction or another investor board member that says to go to another direction. And eventually, they end up with a little bit of paralysis by analysis. And that's a problem. And it's a problem that can be solved either on your own or through us in our our search services. And that's pulling in the right independent board member, or independent board chair. And these are not people who are your friends are probably anybody you know, today. These are people that are seasoned CEOs that have already navigated the ground that you're trying to cover. So imagine if you had somebody on your board that every time you call them an investor, they took your call because this person is involved. Or this person understands all your step ups and different valuations. Or this person already understands your talent pool that you're trying to attract, or they know your market. They know the clinicians, they can provide a huge advantage in all those areas, and especially the go to market where most of our med tech companies seem to fail. We've got all these great technologies, but eventually they need to go to market and somebody's got to help get that figured out. So if you have a board member this already conquered maybe going to market with capital equipment. Or maybe it's a statics or maybe it's cash pay. Or maybe it's DTC direct to consumer. Finding somebody with all those expertise is that's on your board that's vested, and will advise you and also help lead your investors is always beneficial. So I'll give you a quick quick story of a company we worked with called cardio logs out of Paris, where young came to me looking for a director, he ended up hiring me too, by the way, because he was so impressed with the group. He actually spoke with about 10 people who understood his space really well. Went through that the process pulled two people in and about two years later, he drove a really nice exit. I met with him afterwards and I said, Yan, tell me the difference these two people made. And he said, Roger, gosh, you know, I thought we really thought big, I'd had a good vision for our future where we're going, how to capitalize on it. But these people taught me really how to think big and see big and see a bigger picture than I could see. And he ended up driving a fabulous exit that the investors and he ended up netting something much more substantial than they would have without these two independent directors. So I encourage everybody to do that. Whether you're using us someone else or doing it on your own, get the right people involved. So to introduce
